Police Constable Bharti: Police recruitment for 19,838 posts

CSBC has issued a notification for recruitment to 19,838 posts. Online applications will be from 18 March to 18 April 2025. Recruitment will be completed in three phases. There is a golden opportunity to get a government job in Bihar.

Bihar Police Constable Bharti: The Bihar Police Constable 2025 Recruitment Notification has been issued by the Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC). Under this recruitment, 19,838 posts will be appointed. 

Eligible candidates can apply online from 18 March 2025 to 18 April 2025. The recruitment process will be completed in three phases. If you also want to work in the police department, then you can apply for this recruitment.

Bihar Police Recruitment Qualification

Candidates have to fulfill some eligibility conditions to apply.

Age Limit: The age of the candidate should be between 18 to 25 years. Age relaxation will be given for reserved categories.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) or 10th class.

Physical Standards: Height should be 165 cm for male candidates and 155 cm for women.

Exam Date-

CSBC has also announced the date of the Bihar Police Constable Exam 2025. The exam will start on July 13, 2025, and will run till August 6, 2025. During this, the exam will be conducted in several phases.

SC/ST, Female Candidates and Transgender: Rs 180

Candidates of all other categories: Rs 675

Selection Process

The selection process consists of three main stages.

Written Exam: This exam consists of questions related to general knowledge and mental ability. To pass this, candidates must score a minimum of 30%.

Physical Standard Test (PST): In this, the height, chest, and weight of the candidates are checked.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET): This stage conducts competitions like running, long jump and shot put to measure the physical ability of the candidates.

Exam Pattern- 

The written exam will be of 100 marks, consisting of 100 questions. Each question will be of 1 mark. Questions will be asked from Hindi, English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, General Knowledge, and Logical Reasoning in the exam.

Police Bharti: Salary

The candidate appointed to this post will get a salary of Rs 21700 to Rs 69100 per month. Apart from this, allowances like Dearness Allowance (DA), Travel Allowance (TA), and House Rent Allowance (HRA) will also be available.
